THE 34TH KENYA HOMES EXPO: A CELEBRATION OF DIVERSE REAL ESTATE SECTORS AND INVESTMENTS OPPORTUNITIES
The 34th Kenya Homes Expo, held from the 19th to the 22nd of October 2023 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), was a remarkable showcase of Kenya’s thriving real estate industry, uniting a wide spectrum of sectors under one roof.
Over 110 exhibitors participated, representing an array of real estate sectors, from construction and solar solutions to land agents, financiers, property managers, smart tech innovators, and many more home-related entities. The diversity of exhibitors mirrored the rich tapestry of Kenya’s real estate landscape.
Beyond traditional real estate players, the expo featured internet service providers, roofing specialists, saccos, fitness and wellness experts, security service providers, insurance professionals, and so much more. This wide-ranging participation illustrated the interconnected nature of the real estate industry, where collaboration among various sectors is crucial for its growth.
One of the standout features for this 34th edition was the presence of international exhibitors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly Dubai, which saw us sign an MOU officiating a partnership with Dubai Investors majorly from the Dubai Inexpo Group. This collaboration aims to offer enticing investment opportunities to Kenyan investors looking to expand their portfolios abroad.
The event was graced by esteemed stakeholders, including the Housing Secretary from the Ministry of Housing reaffirming the government’s commitment to working with developers and stakeholders to ensure affordable housing solutions for Kenyans. The Deputy Governor of Nairobi County, H.E Njoroge Muchiri, serving as the Chief Guest, outlined collaborative initiatives aimed at furthering this mission.
The expo concluded with a memorable closing ceremony, where exhibitors were recognized and celebrated for their contributions to the multifaced real estate industry. Trophies and certificates were awarded in various categories, emphasizing the excellence and innovation demonstrated by the participants.
With the 35th edition of the Kenya Homes Expo already on the horizon, scheduled for April 18th to 21st, 2024, at KICC, the event continues to be a pivotal platform for showcasing the potential and vibrancy of Kenya’s real estate market.
